The Guard Satellite (ガードサテライト^?, lit.: "Guard Satellite") is a ship part featured in Pikmin. For Captain Olimar, the Guard Satellite guarded him and the S.S. Dolphin in deep space. Captain Olimar says he could sleep better at night with this part running. It protected Olimar many times from space pirates, but somehow it didn’t detect the giant meteor that hit the Dolphin. Once brought back to the Dolphin, it will float around the spaceship, to port of the ship's nose (to the left and front of Olimar when seated). When the ship lifts off, and during flight, this piece moves and attaches to the hull on the port side, near the #2 Ionium Jet.
