The Engulfed Castle is a cave in Pikmin 4. It is located in a small alcove below a bridge near base number 2 in Serene Shores, Water's Edge. It has five sublevels. Only Blue Pikmin can access its entrance, though hazards of all types appear. The boss of this cave, the Waterwraith, is unique in that they will drop from the celling after enough time has passed in any sublevel. It can instantly kill enemies and Pikmin, and cannot be stopped without Purple Pikmin. It has an exit leading to the top of an otherwise inaccessible hill.

This cave acts as a homage ‐ and at times remaster ‐ of the Submerged Castle from Pikmin 2, with some sublevels being near identical.
