Olimar's Log (オリマーの日誌?, lit.: "Olimar's Log") is a category from the Exploration Notes menu in Pikmin 3. It holds 10 data files with journal entries from Captain Olimar's explorations. The files are scattered around the areas, and sometimes hidden.
All of these have the text "– Captain Olimar" on a stripe at the bottom. In this article, unless otherwise specified, the text provided is the same in both the US and European versions. The title of each in the US version is "Journal Entry #", followed by a number, but in the European version, it's "Olimar's diary #", followed by the number.

- US text: “Curse that Hocotate ship. It may once have been a top-of-the-line vessel, but it's now an insult to my piloting. I can't wait to pay off that debt and get back in my beloved S.S. Dolphin. But that means I need to find something really valuable before I return home...”
- Europe text: “Curse this stupid ship! It may once have been a top-of-the-line vessel, but the way it criticises my piloting skills really gets on my nerves. I can't wait to get my beloved old SS Dolphin back! I need to find plenty of valuable treasure and pay that debt off as soon as possible!”
- Area: Garden of Hope
- Location: In a small puddle inside the Quaggled Mireclops' arena. It should be near the Hocotate ship.

- Olimar's nightmare in Entry #6 is a reference to the first game's bad ending, where he is also brought to an Onion after taking heavy damage.
