The Seed Hive (タントタネギシリ) is a fruit in Pikmin 3. It is a papaya worth two and a half bottles of juice, and is only found in the Twilight River. In Mission Mode, the fruit appears many times, despite being larger, and is worth 200 Pokos.

Collecting the fruit

The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The Seed Hive is dropped from the sky upon defeating the Scornet Maestro, for whatever reason. Since Louie and the fruit are the most important objects, send them first before harvesting the Scornet Maestro and the Scornets. If Winged Pikmin are to carry the Seed Hive, make sure the Arachnode near base is taken out, as well as the Flighty Joustmite.

This was a bit of an emotional roller coaster for us. We were lured in by the sweet scent, but when we cut it open, it was infested with huge insects! Alph fainted, poor thing. Then I realized that the "insects" were seeds! Yay! Alph will wake up, eventually.

This was a bit of an emotional roller-coaster for us. We were lured in by the sweet scent, but when we cut it open, it was infested with huge insects! Alph fainted, poor thing. Then I realized that the "Insects" were actually seeds! Hooray! Alph will wake up, eventually.

The following article or section is in need of assistance from someone who plays the US version of Pikmin 3.
Particularly: Check if the US version says "were seeds" or "were actually seeds".
