In Pikmin Bloom, the detector is an item allows the player to find expeditions. It is unlocked at level 7.
Mechanics
The detector is found on the map screen. It can be used once per day, and recharges at midnight. The player can also recharge the detector by spending 100 coins.
Using the detector will return between 2 and 5 nearby expeditions. The amount of expeditions it finds is random.
In addition to finding expeditions, the detector can show the player what types of Decor Pikmin can be found nearby. Up to 7 Decor Pikmin icons will be shown.
