Shaded Garden Remix is a Mission Mode stage in Pikmin 3. It is a remixed version of the Shaded Garden stage, and is playable in the Collect Treasure! mode only. In the original Pikmin 3, it was released as downloadable content on October 1st, 2013, while in Pikmin 3 Deluxe, it is part of the base game and can be unlocked by completing the first 5 Mission Mode stages.
Layout[edit]
All three leaders start out on an elevated area in the western part of the stage, with the SPERO nearby. North of that is a tall platform that holds some buried Winged Pikmin. A leader must be thrown to this platform to pluck the Pikmin. To the south is a large cluster of buried Yellow Pikmin, and further west is a Waddlepus guarding a small room with another cluster of buried Yellow Pikmin and 2 Flukeweeds which hold a Lesser Mock Bottom and a Bomb Rock underneath. A Juicy Gaggle is also present in the room.
Further down the path beginning near to the Waddlepus are 2 Dwarf Bulborbs, as well as a small room off to the side. This room has a dirt mound, which contains 3 Bomb Rocks, which will come into use for destroying the reinforced wall. The leaders will come across another group of buried Yellow Pikmin, and eventually will see a Bearded Amprat guarding the reinforced wall. Nearby is a group of buried Winged Pikmin in a flower pot. Just beyond the wall is a Burrowing Snagret, and south of that is a group of buried Blue Pikmin accompanying a nearby pile of nuggets.
Further east of the Snagret is another cluster of buried Winged Pikmin next to a spiral structure holding a Mock Bottom. Within throwing distance from the top of the spiral is another elevated area, with 2 Juicy Gaggles, a bunch of 20 Dusk Pustules, and another group of buried Blue Pikmin. Outside of the elevated area are even more buried Blue Pikmin ready for use. Northwest of there is a Bearded Amprat guarding a pile of nuggets, 2 Golden Grenades, and a Juicy Gaggle. The fruits can only be accessed by destroying the dirt wall and climbing up the path. Along the path are more buried Yellow Pikmin and some more Bomb Rocks.
To the south is a bamboo gate providing access to the large water portion of the area. The water portion holds 3 Lesser Mock Bottoms, with a Hermit Crawmad guarding over them. A Golden Grenade is located on a high platform, and can only be retrieved from throwing Pikmin from the high platform that has the buried Winged Pikmin. A Mock Bottom can also be found near to the location of the Waddlepus, which is near the starting point of the stage.

First, immediately split up the three leaders. One should be thrown onto the plateau with the Winged Pikmin sprouts, another should go to the Yellow Pikmin sprouts, and the last should use a Go Here! command to go in front of the Bamboo gate. The leader with the Yellow Pikmin can take out the Dwarf Bulborbs. The leader with Winged Pikmin should spread their Winged Pikmin across the partially submerged fruit in the pond and give at least 10 to the third leader so that they can raise the gate. This leader can then walk under it, but after doing this, whistle the Pikmin off the gate. The Winged Pikmin and Yellow Pikmin should be now mixed up with different leaders instead of one handling each type. One of the leaders should move to the alcove with the Flukeweed with at least a few Winged Pikmin. The two other leaders can work together to pick up all the treasures on that half. Most of the time in this area, smaller objects like nuggets or Dusk Pustules are best dealt with by Winged Pikmin, while larger objects can be left to Yellow and Blue Pikmin. There are many Bomb Rocks around this area, which can be used to destroy the reinforced wall as well as to defeat enemies such as the Burrowing Snagret.

In Pikmin 3, these are the world records for the challenge, as obtained from the in-game global rankings feature. The following scores were retrieved on December 10th, 2015. Since the in-game leaderboards have been compromised, it is impossible to obtain more up-to-date legitimate records from the game, though players may have obtained higher scores since.
