== 3 purple Yellows in Pikmin 1  ==

First, you need to all of the color Pikmin. Then go to the very first stage, The Impact Site. Take out 28 yellow pikmin. Next, go to the cardboard box and get three of your yellow pikmin, and make them each pick up a bomb rock. After that, go to the stream. Then, when you get there throw all three of the yellow pikmin with bomb rocks into the stream. Next, without calling them out of the water, end the day right there. After that, go back there in the morning and call the three yellow pikmin out of the water. Then they should be all purple.They can do everything, like Bulbmin inb Pikmin 2.This can be done repeatedly.

Yellow Pikmin are the second type of Pikmin collected in Pikmin 1 and the fourth type in Pikmin 2. These Pikmin have what would appear to be large ears; these are the means by which they are primarily identifiable. It is not known, however, whether or not this actually aids their hearing. In both games, the Yellow Pikmin are light and can be thrown higher than other Pikmin due to their lesser mass and perhaps in part to their ears, an ability which is needed to retrieve certain elevated ship parts and treasures.

Pikmin

In Pikmin 1, Yellow Pikmin can be found in The Forest of Hope inside a dormant Yellow Onion. In this first game, they are able to carry explosive bomb-rocks, which can be used to defeat enemies or demolish gates, and are required to raze stone walls. Improper handling of bomb-rocks can result in accidental friendly fire, so caution is advised.

Pikmin 2

In Pikmin 2, one can find these pointy-eared Pikmin in the Perplexing Pool at the end of a long and twisted path; White Pikmin are necessary just to reach them. Yellow Pikmin are immune to electricity but no longer have the ability to carry bomb-rocks. This may be explained by the rocks' increased size in Pikmin 2.
