Plot

Description

The day is set in the Garden of Hope, but only part of the area can be explored; Like many Side Story missions, brick walls and cinder blocks restrict access to parts of the area. All of the sections behind loading zones are not accessible, the section normally behind the crystal wall next to the base is not accessible, and the second half of the area unlocked in the later part of Story Mode is not accessible. This limits the explorable area to a loop-shaped region.

The player is initially restricted to the area around the base, but a dirt wall can be destroyed to access the rest of the loop, and a brown bridge can be built to access the same area from the opposite direction. (Note that the brown bridge is built in the opposite direction to how it is built in Story Mode.) This further area contains most of the treasure: 2 Face Wrinklers, a Golden Sunseed, 2 Sunseed Beries, and a Citrus Lump.

Day end report

It's been a while since my last treasure-hunting expedition, but I found a few choice artifacts. Good to know I haven't lost my touch. The radar's detected something juicy, so we'll investigate that tomorrow. I hope it's something valuable enough that we can finish the mission early.
