Team Monster Hunt is the fifth day of Olimar's Comeback. It takes place in the Garden of Hope, with the objective of defeating every enemy on the map.

Plot

Olimar and Louie are inadvertently separated while looking for a ship part in the Garden of Hope. Rather than try to reunite, they use this opportunity to split up and explore on their own (an idea Olimar proposed the previous day).

By the end of the day, Olimar admits that he underestimated Louie, and says they got more done today than he anticipated. He also notes Louie's surprising dedication to the mission.

As Olimar, pluck the nearby Pikmin, while Louie takes out the Skutterchucks with the Rock Pikmin, which should then be brought to the Rock Onion. Have Olimar take out the Dwarf Bulborbs and take them back to the Yellow Onion. Then, exchange Pikmin, throwing about 14 or so Rock Pikmin to Olimar's side and around the same number of Yellow Pikmin to Louie's side. Olimar should take out the crystal wall and defeat the enemies behind it, and Louie should destroy the electric gate and defeat the enemies behind it. Make sure to get Winged Pikmin and use them to raise the bamboo gate to pluck the additional Winged Pikmin behind it. Use the Rock Pikmin to smash the crystals, and while they are doing that, throw 10 or so Winged Pikmin to Olimar's side, which should be used to lift the bamboo gate. Take out the enemies there while Louie defeats the enemies behind the crystals. Have Louie throw all Pikmin except the Winged Pikmin to Olimar's side. Use the Winged Pikmin to excavate the dirt mound and use the bomb rocks it produces to blow up the reinforced wall. At this point, either leader should have some ultra-spicy sprays and bomb rocks. Feel free to use them here to take out the enemies quickly as the two meet up in the cave.
