Land, Sea, and Sky is the third day of Olimar's Comeback. It takes place in the Garden of Hope, with the objective of defeating every enemy on the map.
Plot[edit]
Olimar and Louie continue their search for the Hocotate Ship, taking them back to the Garden of Hope. While it is located near the Quaggled Mireclops arena, Olimar and Louie search the area outside of it, defeating any enemies as they explore.
By the end of the day, they locate the Ship and discover its damage. They plan to look for the parts in the upcoming days before any indigenous creatures can.
Description[edit]
This day takes place in the Garden of Hope, in the western part of the area's main segment. Red Pikmin, Blue Pikmin, and Winged Pikmin are found in this stage, each with a separate Onion. The stage features ground-based enemies, underwater enemies, and airborne enemies, hence its name.
Olimar and Louie start near the Red Onion in the southwest of the stage. On the plateau to the northeast, there are Dwarf Orange Bulborbs and fragments for building an orange bridge to leave this plateau. At ground level to the west of this plateau, there is the Blue Onion with Watery Blowhogs nearby. On the tiled plateau to the east, there is the Winged Onion with an Orange Bulborb and Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, and this plateau can only be reached by building a blue bridge. In the water surrounding these plateaus, there are various aquatic enemies. On the land in the northeast of the stage, there are more enemies, including a mini-boss, the Bug-Eyed Crawmad.

Guide[edit]
|
The following article or section contains guides. |
Firstly, take out the Orange Dwarf Bulborbs and start building the bridge while you throw another captain to the Blue Onion to collect Blue Pikmin. As the captain with the Blue Pikmin, go past the can-like bridge to defeat Puckering Blinnows and gain Winged Pikmin . Collect the blue bridge pieces near the shore, but don’t stay as that captain for too long, or else the Red Pikmin won’t get the other bridge pieces near the land captain. The water captain should continue to wipe out water enemies when possible if it does not interrupt the bridge-making process. You should use the Winged Pikmin to eliminate weaker land enemies such as the Swooping Snitchbug. Once the orange bridge finishes, reunite both captains to get the blue bridge pieces near the orange bridge, making sure to get the Pyroclasmic Slooches out of the question. Once the blue bridge finishes, take out the Orange Bulborbs with the Red Pikmin, and farming Winged Pikmin if needed, as a bamboo gate needs to be raised to fight the Bug-eyed Crawmad. Another 10 winged are needed to raise another Bamboo gate and fight the enemies beyond it. At this point, sweep throughout the level to take out the rest of the enemies, and raising numbers if neeeded.

Trivia[edit]
- When seeing the damage to the Hocotate Ship, Olimar comments that this situation is "very familiar". This is in reference to the main plot of Pikmin, as the S.S Dolphin suffered virtually identical damage, down to the same missing parts.
