The Empty Vase (すかんぴんツボ?, lit.: "Destitute Vase") is a treasure in Pikmin 4 located in the Hectic Hollows. It is actually the bottom half of a matryoshka doll.

Collecting the treasure

It is stuck in a hydro jelly on the bottom edge of Sublevel 1 of the Hectic Hollows in the Sun-Speckled Terrace, meaning that Ice Pikmin are required to collect this treasure. To collect this treasure, you must first burst the hydro jelly, then lower the paper bag nearby, and finally throw 10 Pikmin at it.

Notes

Schnauz's notes

Look at this enormous vase. Like a parent who's given too much to a child, it's completely empty. Is this all that remains of a sad story? Maybe. Maybe not. Only that parent can say whether giving so much brought them disappointment...or the greatest joy.

Olimar's notes

Once you have children, money starts disappearing faster than you can save it. My wife says, "If it's for the children, it's worth is." I admire her enormous heart... Still, every year it seems like the children get more and more expensive.
