The Cookie of Prosperity (繁栄クッキー?, lit.: "Prosperity Cookie") is a treasure found in Pikmin 4. It is a small checkered butter cookie. There is one found in Story Mode, with it being located in the Kingdom of Beasts. One is also present in the Dandori Challenge stage, Dandori Day Care, once.

Location of the Cookie of Prosperity on sublevel 5 of the Kingdom of Beasts.

The Cookie of Prosperity is found lying on the ground near the western edge of sublevel 5 of the Kingdom of Beasts. It can be found near a lone Dwarf Bulbear fighting some wild Rock Pikmin. The quickest path back to the base is blocked off by an iron fence, which can be lowered by pressing a white switch that is blocked off by a crystal wall. The Spotty Bulbear's patrol path takes it past this wall, so with careful timing, the wall could be destroyed without being noticed by the beast. Once the fence has been lowered, simply retrieve it.

Notes[edit]

Schnauz's notes[edit]

It's said the two colors in this cookie bring good luck to one's family and to one's business. In fact, it was a tradition here for families to gather around a cookie and eat it together. There's even a saying about it: "The family that eats a cookie together gets rich together."

Olimar's notes[edit]

This pattern always reminds me of our family game nights. We like to play board games, but it would be even more enjoyable if we could eat the boards after. I was curious to know if the flavor was as playful as the design, so I took a bite. Tastes normal.

Louie's notes[edit]

It's like an optical illusion. If I keep alternating bites by color, would I ever make it to the last morsel?

In other media[edit]

In the Pikmin comic strip "Ultra-Spicy Spray", the new Rescue Officer augments Oatchi with ultra-spicy spray. The newbie then sends him to collect a Cookie of Prosperity, but he keeps bouncing around at a fast speed instead of grabbing the treasure.

Naming[edit]

  • Internal name: The Cookie of Prosperity's internal name is YOSHICOOKIEB as the treasure's design is based off of a cookie type from the game Yoshi's Cookie.
