Spotty Bulbear/Locations

The following is a list of locations where Spotty Bulbears can be found.

In Pikmin

Story Mode

Bulbears only appear in The Distant Spring. There are six of them in the area. One can be found relatively close to the Red Onion landing site. A second one can be found close-by, guarding the giant skull which houses some bomb-rocks. Three can be found behind the black reinforced wall near the landing site, with a Puffy Blowhog in-between. It is the area holding the UV Lamp. A sixth can be found on the other side of the landing site, across the bridge near the Massage Machine.

Challenge Mode

Bulbears only appear in The Forest of Hope in challenge mode. There are four of them in the area. One can be found where the Yellow Onion is found in story mode, guarding a red 10-pellet posy. A second one can be found in the area where the Armored Cannon Beetle is found in story mode, it shares this space with 2 Bulborbs and a Pearly Clamclamp. A third one can be found where the Shock Absorber is located in story more. The fourth and final one is found where the three Burrowing Snagrets would be found in story mode.

In Pikmin 2

Story Mode

Only 1 can be found above ground, whereas the rest are found in caves. The one above ground is in the Perplexing Pool and spawns close to where the Yellow Onion is originally found.

  • One can be seen on sublevel 3, holding the Danger Chime.
• Glutton's Kitchen
  • One can be seen on sublevel 2, holding the Happiness Emblem, Massive Lid or the Good Old Memories.
• Hole of Heroes
  • One can be seen on sublevel 9.
• Dream Den
  • One can be seen on sublevel 3.

Challenge Mode

• Subterranean Lair
  • Three can be found on the sublevel 1.
• Emperor's Realm
  • One can be found on sublevel 2.

In Pikmin 3

Story Mode

Only 1 appears in the entirety of story mode and can be found in the Distant Tundra. It can be found inside the cave behind the electric gate, near the two Armored Cannon Larvas and the singular Whiptongue Bulborb. Inside the cave, it is found behind the Bamboo gate sharing the area with the Astringent Clump.

Side Stories

Olimar's Comeback

• Creature Hunting
  • One can be found in the center of the map, alongside 3 Dwarf Bulbears and relatively close to a crystal wall.
• Team Monster Hunt
  • One can be found in the area where the two Fiery Blowhogs would be found in story mode.
• Looking for Louie
  • There are two in this stage and both can be found in the area where the two clipboards (holding multiple Dwarf Orange Bulborbs and bridge fragments) would be in story mode.
• Another Part Found
  • One can be found in the middle-to-left segment of the area, where the reinforced wall is blocking, sharing the space with two Skutterchucks.

Mission Mode

Collect Treasures!

• Beastly Caverns
  • One is found in the western segment of the area, holding Louie.

Battle Enemies!

• Thirsty Desert
  • One is found behind the dirt wall, guarded by 7 Shearwigs, close to the Blue Onion.
• Twilight Hollow
  • One is found in the eastern-most part of the area, blocked off by two Bamboo Gates. The area holds a pile of fragments connecting it to the area holding the Calcified Crushblat.
• Formidable Oak Remix
  • One can be found in the east of the area, blocked off by a dirt wall. The area is patrols hold a dirt mound contains some bomb rocks.

Bingo Battle

• Arid Metropolis

In Pikmin 4

Areas

• Giant's Hearth
  • There are three Spotty Bulbear's in the area. Two can be found in front of the first base patrolling in a circle. The area is surrounded by Dried plants, a pile of raw materials and a clay structure. The third one is found roaming around near the central flame base.

Caves

• Kingdom of Beasts
  • One can be found on sublevel 5. It is located behind the crystal wall blocking off access to the next sublevel entrance. It will initially be followed by two Dwarf Bulbears. It holds 3 Chance Totems.
• Plunder Palace
  • One can be found on sublevel 5. It is located at the top of the map near the Sweet Stumble-Not. It is being followed by two Dwarf Bulbears.

Dandori Challenge

• Trial of the Sage Leaf
  • One can be found in the 1st Story: Bulblaxes. It is located in the room directly next to the one holding the Bulborb.

Night Expedition

• Giant's Hearth
  • Three are found in the 'Line of Logs' stage.
• Primordial Thicket
  • Four are found in 'The Sylvan Gate' stage.
