This template contains treasure collection guides for locations in Pikmin 2 where multiple different treasures can be found depending on the version of the game. Using this template means that the same guide can appear in the articles about all of the treasures in a location without the guide's text being copied between articles. Editing a guide in this template will automatically change the guide in all the articles that use it.

To use the template, write an area or sublevel code in the template's parameter. A table of locations, area or sublevel codes, and guides is below.

Subterranean Complex sublevel 7	scx7	This treasure is found in the seventh sublevel of the Subterranean Complex, and will usually be located in an alcove, though it can also be found on a ledge or at the base of a depression in the centre of a circular metal arrangement. If the latter position occurs, it may be necessary to throw Pikmin at it rather than charging it due to a lip, which should be done cautiously to avoid throwing Pikmin into the abyss instead. There are many bomb-rocks in the sublevel, and a Volatile Dweevil may fall from the sky when the treasure is approached. Before collecting the treasure, make sure to defeat the Gatling Groinks in the sublevel and carry them to the base straight away to ensure they don't regenerate.
Awakening Wood overground	aw	This treasure lies on the elevated tree stump near the Burgeoning Spiderworts, and as such, Yellow Pikmin must be used to reach it. Alternatively, one can use Purple Pikmin to reach it because of the way they are thrown. Run up the shallow root in the center of the left side of the stump while holding a Purple Pikmin, and release it at the highest point the leader can reach. If done properly, the Pikmin will slide up the side of the stump and onto the top, where they will then pick up the treasure.
White Flower Garden sublevel 1	wfg1	This treasure is found on the first sublevel of the White Flower Garden. It will be in one of the alcoves of the sublevel. The only enemies in the sublevel are Male and Female Sheargrubs, so take those out first.
White Flower Garden sublevel 4	wfg4	This treasure is found on sublevel 4 of the White Flower Garden, and may be located on a ledge. Poison emitters will be in between the treasure and the Research Pod, so use White Pikmin to destroy the obstacles or to carry the treasure.
Snagret Hole sublevel 6, first treasure	sh6 1	This treasure is found on the Snagret Hole's sixth sublevel, inside a Dwarf Orange Bulborb that falls from the sky. This enemy can fall anywhere, so look carefully and be cautious around the other enemies in the sublevel. To find its location, first defeat the Antenna Beetle so the Treasure Gauge works properly, and then follow the sound of the Treasure Gague. Be prepared to deal with water hazards and use Blue Pikmin when necessary.
Snagret Hole sublevel 6, second treasure	sh6 2	This treasure is found on sublevel 6 of the Snagret Hole, located in an alcove, and it may be behind a gate. Make sure to use Blue Pikmin and deal with enemies such as Burrowing Snagrets if necessary.
Perplexing Pool overground, first treasure	pp 1	This treasure is found on the mainland in the Perplexing Pool, and is found near the two Burgeoning Spiderworts. It is almost in the same place as the UV Lamp in Pikmin, and the tactic to collect it is the same. Just swarm Yellow Pikmin against the wall (be sure to have 15 or more). Lead them up carefully through the maze, then throw them up onto the high ledge so they can retrieve it. Other Pikmin can also reach it with the high ledge trick. On top of that, flowered White Pikmin can slowly move up the ramp if ordered to do so with the swarming function; this will only work with a sufficiently large group.
Perplexing Pool overground, second treasure	pp 2	This treasure is located near the Citadel of Spiders, and is near an electric gate surrounded by water, making a volatile combination. First, defeat any Yellow Wollyhops and Shearwigs in the way. If the Dwarf Bulbears are there, take them out, too. Build the bridge near the stump found next to the Citadel of Spiders, then throw Yellow Pikmin over the wall to where the electric gate is. Alternatively, it is possible to throw Yellow Pikmin over the electric gate from across the water, with a running start for each throw, or a small number can be led along a root in the water on the left of the gate, then thrown over the wall easily. Let them tear it down and let Blue Pikmin carry it back to the ship.
Citadel of Spiders sublevel 2, first treasure	cos2 1	This treasure is found on sublevel 2 of the Citadel of Spiders, held by a Yellow Wollyhop. There are a few fire geysers nearby, and some Fiery Dweevils that may try to steal the treasure from the Pikmin.
Citadel of Spiders sublevel 2, second treasure	cos2 2	This treasure is found on sublevel 2 of the Citadel of Spiders. Fiery Dweevils and Yellow Wollyhops may intercept the Pikmin carrying this treasure, so to collect the treasure safely, those enemies should be defeated first.
Citadel of Spiders sublevel 3	cos3	This treasure is found on sublevel 3 of the Citadel of Spiders, and may be located out in the open or hidden in an alcove, sometimes behind a bramble gate. There are a few Anode Beetles and Swooping Snitchbugs in this sublevel, including a Swooping Snitchbug that may spawn when Pikmin try to carry the treasure, so Yellow Pikmin are useful here.
Glutton's Kitchen sublevel 2	gk2	This treasure is found on sublevel 2 of the Glutton's Kitchen. It can be located out in the open or on a ledge, so Yellow Pikmin may be required to collect it. Breadbugs and other enemies may get in the way of collecting it, so make sure there is a safe path for carrying the treasure.
Glutton's Kitchen sublevel 4	gk4	This treasure is found on sublevel 4 of the Glutton's Kitchen, and is held inside the sublevel's Spotty Bulbear. It may be subject to thievery by Breadbugs after the Bulbear is defeated.
Glutton's Kitchen sublevel 5	gk5	This treasure is found on the fifth sublevel of the Glutton's Kitchen, usually in an alcove. Armored Cannon Beetle Larvae and several Dwarf Bulbears will get in the path of the Pikmin, so they should be defeated before carrying the treasure.
Shower Room sublevel 1	sr1	This treasure is found on the Shower Room's first sublevel. There may be electrical wires, falling boulders, Wollyhops, and Watery Blowhogs protecting the treasure, so make sure to play carefully.
Shower Room sublevel 2	sr2	This treasure is found in the second sublevel of the Shower Room. It may be near some Dwarf Orange Bulborbs or even the Orange Bulborb in the sublevel. Defeat the Bulborbs and attack the Lesser Spotted Jellyfloat if necessary.
Shower Room sublevel 5, first treasure	sr5 1	This treasure is located on sublevel 5 of the Shower Room, and is the one of the three treasures in the sublevel. It may be found in a body of water covered by a grate, requiring Blue Pikmin to get it. Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Fiery Blowhogs, and Withering Blowhogs may trouble Pikmin as they bring it to the Research Pod.
Shower Room sublevel 5, second treasure	sr5 2	This treasure is located on sublevel 5 of the Shower Room. It will either be in plain view, protected by the sublevel's Withering Blowhogs, Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, Fiery Blowhogs, and Lesser Spotted Jellyfloat, or in the water up high. If the latter is its position, find the mound of sand in one of the larger rooms and go up with Blue Pikmin, throwing them over to the right as the leader reaches the top.
Shower Room sublevel 5, third treasure	sr5 3	This treasure is found in sublevel 5 of the Shower Room and can be found in an alcove, on a raised block, in the corner of a room, or in water. Watch out for the Fiery Blowhogs and Withering Blowhogs, along with other enemies in the sublevel, because they may become an obstacle for a leader's Pikmin.
Shower Room sublevel 6	sr6	This treasure is found on the sixth sublevel of the Shower Room. Common locations are in a low stone arch underwater, behind a gate, or in one of the alcoves on either side of the long gray path. It may get picked up by the Munge Dweevils or Anode Dweevils in the sublevel. Other enemies to contend with are Dwarf Orange Bulborbs, a Wollywog, a Bumbling Snitchbug, and an Orange Bulborb.
Submerged Castle sublevel 3	smc3	This treasure is found in the third sublevel in the Submerged Castle, inside one of the two Withering Blowhogs in the sublevel.
Submerged Castle sublevel 4	smc4	This treasure is found on the fourth sublevel of the Submerged Castle. Along with two groups of Bulbmin, there are Volatile Dweevils and a Careening Dirigibug in this sublevel, as well as bomb-rocks falling from above throughout. This treasure could be anywhere in the sublevel, but it is large and hard to miss. Remember to be quick to avoid a confrontation with the Waterwraith.
Cavern of Chaos sublevel 4	coc4	This treasure is found on the fourth sublevel of the Cavern of Chaos, inside one of the two Emperor Bulblaxes. Find which boss has the treasure with the Treasure Gauge and defeat it to reveal the treasure. If the Bulblax containing the treasure is not in water, it is possible to throw Purple Pikmin between its eyes in the ground to defeat it quickly and easily. If it is in water, or when using other types of Pikmin, the bomb-rocks around the level can be used. Lure the beast near these, then move out of the way as it licks them up; after eating a few, it will die. If any bomb-rocks are out of the range in which it will follow a leader, they can be nudged slowly closer by running into them a few times.
Cavern of Chaos sublevel 7	coc7	This treasure is located in the seventh sublevel of the Cavern of Chaos. It may be near some Puffy Blowhogs, Withering Blowhogs, and Cloaking Burrow-nits. Take them out along with the poison emitters so they won't harm the Pikmin as they carry it back to the ship's pod.
Cavern of Chaos sublevel 8	coc8	This treasure is located on the eighth sublevel of the Cavern of Chaos, where it is usually located in a dead end. The sublevel is vast, and it is filled with many Dwarf Red Bulborbs as well as a pair of Gatling Groinks.
Hole of Heroes sublevel 6	hoh6	This treasure is found in the sixth sublevel of the Hole of Heroes, which is filled with water and aquatic enemies. The treasure will always be located in an alcove at the edge of the sublevel, and will usually need to be carried through water, requiring Blue Pikmin to collect it, though sometimes it won't need to be carried through water.
Hole of Heroes sublevel 9	hoh9	This treasure is found on sublevel 9 of the Hole of Heroes, inside a Fiery Bulblax. There are many varieties of Bulborb on this sublevel, so other enemies may have to be defeated in order to reach the Fiery Bulblax. Red Pikmin and Bulbmin are the best Pikmin types to use to defeat this enemy.
Dream Den sublevel 11	dd11	This treasure is found in the eleventh sublevel of the Dream Den, and may either be found on a ledge or on the ground. A Breadbug and other enemies may try to stop the Pikmin from taking the treasure to the ship's pod.
Dream Den sublevel 12	dd12	This treasure is found in sublevel 12 of the Dream Den, inside one of the two Orange Bulborbs in the sublevel. Defeat the Antenna Beetle first so you can easily find this treasure, and then defeat the Wollyhops and deactivate the poison emitters to clear out the path.
Dream Den sublevel 13	dd13	This treasure is found in the thirteenth sublevel of the Dream Den, inside one of the Orange Bulborbs in the sublevel. Use Purple Pikmin to defeat all the Bulborbs in the way, and carry the treasure to the ship's pod.
