The centipare family is a family of species that appears in Hey! Pikmin only. So far, this family is made of only one species, the Centipare. Interestingly, this creature, which is probably the younger version of the Adult Centipare, is classified in a different family from its adult version. This is likely a mistake.
This family consists of the Chilopoda genus.

Centipares are creatures that appear in Hey! Pikmin only. They are long, thin and harmless creatures, colored in a pink-violet hue. They only fly up and down, and can be mounted by Olimar and his Pikmin in order to keep going in an area.
