The Essence of Desire (銀河愛のモニュメント?, lit.: "Monument of Galaxy Love") is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It is actually a cushion cut amethyst mounted on a square gold or brass loop. It can be found in the Dream Den on the seventh sublevel, a small level densely packed with enemies like Bumbling Snitchbugs, Careening Dirigibugs, and two Puffy Blowhogs, in which only one of the Blowhogs holds this treasure.
