The Regal Diamond (ロイヤル・ダイヤモンド?, lit.: "Royal Diamond") is a treasure in Pikmin 2. As its name implies, it is a brilliant-cut diamond. The jewel is found on the fifth and final sublevel of the Citadel of Spiders, and is completely buried in the ground. Go to the area with some Glowcaps and an Iridescent Flint Beetle and toss White Pikmin onto the ledge in which the treasure is buried, which can be identified using the Treasure Gauge. They'll dig it up, and there should be no hassle transporting it back to the Ship's Pod.
Notes

“The other day, my daughter begged me to get her some jewelry. She's becoming so fashion conscious! I know girls grow up quickly, but never imagined it would happen this fast!”
Sales pitch
“This scintillating jewel will make girlfriends feel like queens of the galaxy and boyfriends feel like kings of debt. Fit for the ruler of the universe, it is the ultimate giant diamond.”
Sales pitch (Nintendo Switch)[edit]
“This scintillating jewel is a royally rich gift. But woe be to those who buy it as a romantic gesture. They'll be turned to paupers! It's the ultimate giant diamond, fit for the ruler of the universe.”
Pikmin 2 website[edit]
“As she gazes rapturously on this, she'll feel like the queen of the galaxy. And he'll feel like the loan king.”

Sales pitch (Japanese)[edit]
- Text: “うっとりながめるだけで彼女の気分は銀河クイーン。彼氏の気分はローンキング。大宇宙の王者にふさわしい、究極巨大なダイアモンド。”
