The Essence of Desire (銀河愛のモニュメント?, lit.: "Monument of Galaxy Love") is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It can be found in the Dream Den on the seventh sublevel, a small level densely packed with enemies like Swooping and Bumbling Snitchbugs, Careening Dirigibugs, and two Puffy Blowhogs, one of which holds this sparkling treasure. It is actually a gold mounted amethyst.
