The Fond Gyro Block (なつかしのジャイロブロック?, lit.: "Nostalgic Gyro block") is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It is found in the fourteenth sublevel in Hole of Heroes. The treasure is inside the body of a Beady Long Legs, and many Dweevils will try to take it from the Pikmin once the Beady Long Legs drops possession of it. In the real world, the Fond Gyro Block is actually a red gyro block of a R.O.B.

Notes

Olimar's journal

Since I landed on this planet, I've encountered countless treasures that remind me of my childhood. I wonder why that is? I think it's because the objects we're discovering look just like things I had as a kid. This is one of those items.

Sales pitch

Red: the color of memories, of sunsets at the end of a day of play, of pure embarrassment!
