The Survival Ointment is a ChapStick brand of lip balm and is only found in the NTSC version of Pikmin 2. It is found on Sublevel 4 of the White Flower Garden and may be located on a ledge. Poisonous pipes are in the way, so use White Pikmin.
On the cap, it reads:
