To defeat this enemy, it is advised to throw multiple Purple Pikmin onto its eyes while still submerged. Collecting this item grants the ability of the Scorch Guard, part of the Exploration Kit.
The treasure is similar to the Justice Alloy in that both are toy robot halves that up-grade the captains' armor.
