The Imperative Cookie (さいみんクッキー?, lit.: "Hypnotic Cookie") is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It is actually a cookie glazed with a cinnamon swirl. It is found on sublevel 2 of the Glutton's Kitchen and is sometimes found on a ledge. Breadbugs and other enemies may impede the Pikmin retrieving this treasure.

Collecting The Treasure

The exact location of this treasure changes each time the floor is loaded. The optimal way to collect the treasure is either to collect the treasure without any Breadbug interference or by overpowering the Breadbug as it attempts to carry off the treasure. 8 strength is needed to accomplish this. Some treasure configurations render this impossible however. For consistency, it is highly recommended that the player enters the cave with a few Purple Pikmin. When Breadbugs seize a treasure or monster corpse, it will drag the item back to it's hole in the ground. Breadbugs are very difficult to damage by normal means. The best way to damage them is to overpower them while they attempt to seize a treasure. When the Pikmin bring the item back to the Pod, the breadbug will bang against the Pod and take around 80% of its health in damage. Since two hits against the Pod are required to kill, the player will have to overpower the breadbug while it is carrying a Sheargrub corpse. This can only be done using Purple Pikmin. Once the Breadbug is defeated, their hole will disappear and all items and treasures it has taken will be dropped.

Olimar's journal

I'm a man with an indomitable will, but I can't stop sampling this luscious food! Such an attractive shape... Appetizing color... Scrumptious smell... I'm getting hungry already!
