The Leviathan Feather is a treasure found in the game Pikmin 2. It is simply just a white feather. It probably doesn't belong to a Burrowing Snagret because it is too large to be on its white feathered head. This invaluable piece can be found on the first sublevel of the Snagret Hole near the hole leading to the next sublevel, in what appears to be the inside of a birdhouse. It is tied for the least valuable treasure.

The Leviathan Feather is simply just a down feather. It probably doesn't belong to a Burrowing Snagret because it is too large to be on its white feathered head. This piece can be found on the first sublevel of the Snagret Hole.

It's near the hole leading to the next sublevel, in what appears to be the inside of a birdhouse. It is tied for the least valuable treasure.

Notes

Olimar's Journal

"This appears to be a huge bird feather, but I've never seen the creature it once belonged to. I wonder if I ever will. I've only seen a few airborne creatures on this planet. I wonder why? Maybe it's just because I haven't encountered them yet. Oh no... What if they saw me take this feather? They could be watching me, waiting for the perfect moment to take their sweet revenge!!"

Sales Pitch

"All that's been discovered of this titanic bird is a single feather. Whatever did it look like? Your imagination is the only tool needed to paint a picture of this dream (or nightmare) bird!"

Trivia

  • As a bibical figure (most common in the Book of Job), Leviathan was depicted as a giant sea monster, and the word "leviathan" is often used as an adjective to describe something gigantic. However, in some forms of Satanism, Leviathan is portrayed as significant as Satan.
    • This also coincides with how the Snagret species appears, with a long serpent-like body. The leviathan also was a symbol of greed, which also matches with the the theme of sugary treats scattered about the Snagret Hole.
