The Zest Bomb in the Distant Tundra is within reach from the landing site, but it is recommended that you have rescued Charlie before collecting it. Throw 2 leaders over to the plateau next to the Dodge Whistle. To the far left of the cliff is a Bouncy Mushroom. Throw a leader and a good amount of Yellow Pikmin onto it. Afterwards, the leader will be on another plateau near the landing site with 2 Bearded Amprats and a Citrus Lump. Collecting the treasure[edit]

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

Serene Shores[edit]

There is a Zest Bomb submerged underwater in the southeasternmost body of water in the overworld, more to the west, and is next to a cluster of Dawn Pustules. It is guarded by a Pricklepuff and four Puckering Blinnows, which should be defeated before attempting to collect this treasure. To retrieve it, you must throw 7 Pikmin at it.

Frozen Inferno[edit]

There is a Zest Bomb inside of the Freezecake in the northeastern room of sublevel 3 of the Frozen Inferno. To collect this treasure, you must first defeat the Freezecake, then throw 7 Pikmin at it.

Cavern for a King[edit]

There is a Zest Bomb lying in a pond along the western edge of sublevel 19 of the Cavern for a King, next to three Cupid's Grenades and a Blonde Impostor. To collect this treasure, you must throw 5 Blue Pikmin or Winged Pikmin at it.

Notes

Brittany's notes

This one's sour but smells really nice. I wonder if the juice would work as a deodorant? I also wonder if we can spare a little for the experiment? Finally, I wonder if the captain would notice if I doused him in it while his back was turned?

Schnauz's notes[edit]

A number of fruits look quite similar to this one. But while it may be rather forgettable in appearance, its refreshing fragrance will live in your memory forever. Those with a mature palate should also sample its bitter taste. A zesty experience indeed!

Olimar's notes[edit]

Seems to be a Citrus Lump but younger and very green. Inexperience is usually perceived as a weakness, but its power should not be underestimated. Many an organization has been improved by a newcomer's creative and untamed energy.

Louie's notes[edit]

Squeeze the juice over fish or meat if you want to diffuse their odor.

Trivia[edit]

The result of combining Juicy Gaggle and Zest Bomb juice.
  • If the player obtains a Zest Bomb and a Juicy Gaggle consecutively such that both juices are combined into the same bottle, the resulting combination will be an odd cyan color, as explained here.
