The Piklopedia is an in-game list of all the plants and creatures in Pikmin 2 that you have come in contact with throughout your exploration. It is the counterpart to the Treasure Hoard, which shares the same music as the Piklopedia.
Upon moving into the vicinity of creatures in the game, above or below ground, and also in Challenge Mode, the area's music is slightly altered, generally with an increase in pace and more percussion instruments playing. When fighting bosses, a different piece of music plays at the more active parts of the fight, such as when a Man-at-Legs is shooting or another Arachnorb is stomping more quickly.
