The Crystallized Telekinesis (サイコキネシス・クリスタル?, lit.: "Psychokinesis Crystal") is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It is a large marble with a yellow cat's-eye pattern inside that is found on the first sublevel of the Snagret Hole. It plays an important role in the 2-Player Battle mode, where it is the main item that needs to be collected.
Collecting the treasure[edit]
The following article or section contains guides. |
This treasure is found on the Snagret Hole's first sublevel, and is held by the Orange Bulborb in the lower area of the sublevel. Defeating the Orange Bulborb will make it drop the treasure.
In 2-Player Battle[edit]
In 2-Player Battle, the Crystallized Telekinesis is one of the most important items, as it provides the main way to win a match. There are seven of them out in the field, and they are all partially buried, except for some that can be held by certain enemies. They only take a minimum of one Pikmin to carry, so they are easy to move. Winning the match requires collecting four of these marbles, and since there are seven in total, only one player can reach this goal. When a marble is unearthed, there is a chance that 1 to 5 Shearwigs will come out of the spot underneath it. They may move very fast due to a glitch (or perhaps an intended feature), making them a dangerous threat to Pikmin.
In Pikmin 3[edit]
This treasure returns in Pikmin 3’s Bingo Battle under the name Yellow Marble. It serves predominantly as an item for the bingo card, and is often found in pairs. It’s weight is reduced to 3 and up to 8 pikmin can carry it.
