Peckish Aristocrab

The Peckish Aristocrab is a crab-like creature that first debuted in a Pikmin 3 portion of a Nintendo direct shown on 12.5.12. Its main body resembles a green and purple clove of garlic, with 4 legs coming from underneath, and two claws, one being extremely dwarfed, and a much larger one that is transparent at the pincers. It has bright yellow spots on its cheeks, which look like eyes, while its real eyes rest on stalks, protruding out from the top of its head. It has a large mouth with a serrated lower jaw and long purple tongue. The creature mainly rests in water, but can detect Pikmin's presence from afar, and it will quickly scuttle sideways onto the player's path when they enter the area.

When Pikmin are thrown at it, the creature is capable of maneuvering its massive claw to shield itself from the thrown Pikmin. It can also defend itself by blowing bubbles at the Pikmin, which will make them levitate for a long period of time until the bubble pops. This can also disable the captains, as well. It attacks by grasping multiple Pikmin with its claw and dropping them into its mouth.

It is speculated that Rock Pikmin are capable of breaking the Peckish Aristocrab's larger claw, since it is very crystal-like in appearance and a video reveals that hitting the claw with Rock Pikmin causes pieces to fly off.

This creature can also eat Bomb Rocks. If the enemy eats the bomb rock, it will lead to a one hit kill.
