A Flighty Joustmite attacks by flying, and stabbing it's mouth/beak straight down upon it's prey, if it misses, however, it will be stuck for multiple seconds, and this can be a good time to attack it. To attack it, you have to hit the fleshy white part on it's back, which isn't guarded with a shell, Rock Pikmin can make simple work out of this creature, and quickly take them down. They can also attack while on land.
