Strategy
Pikmin
If a considerable amount of Pikmin is available, swarm it and it should die before eating any. Alternatively, aim and throw a large amount of Pikmin (Preferably Purple Pikmin) at its back. If one lands directly on it, it'll die immediately.
Captains
Run around it and swat it until it's dead, avoiding its attacks. Similarly to the strategy of defeating Adult bulborbs, attack its back to evade its attacks.
