The '''Giant Breadbug''' | The '''Giant Breadbug''' is a boss in ''[[Pikmin 2]]''. To defeat this enemy, you must wait until it latches onto a [[Treasure Hoard|treasure]] or defeated creature, such as the nearby Anode Beetles, or Breadbugs. Then, toss onto or swarm the treasure with as many [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] as possible (preferably twice as much as the minimum weight; this is of course made easier if [[Purple Pikmin]] are used) and watch them drag the helpless Giant Breadbug toward the [[Research Pod]]. However, an easier way exists, as when the Giant Breadbug is dragged, you can use [[Ultra-Bitter Spray]] on the center of it, then swarm it. The Giant Breadbug is a boss in Pikmin 2. Killing Strategy
To defeat this enemy, you must wait until it latches onto a treasure or defeated creature, such as the nearby Anode Beetles, or Breadbugs. Then, toss onto or swarm the treasure with as many Pikmin as possible (preferably twice as much as the minimum weight; this is of course made easier if Purple Pikmin are used) and watch them drag the helpless Giant Breadbug toward the Research Pod. However, an easier way exists, as when the Giant Breadbug is dragged, you can use Ultra-Bitter Spray on the center of it, then swarm it. Like with normal Breadbugs, should there not be enough Pikmin on the treasure, they will be pulled into the Giant Breadbug's den and killed.
