As it name implies, it resembles a large, pinkish version of the [[Lesser Spotted Jellyfloat]]. This species is considerably more rare, as it is alien to the region, but according to Olimar, its population is quickly displacing that of its smaller cousin. Greater Spotted Jellyfloats can be defeated in the same manner as Lesser Spotted Jellyfloats, but they have slightly more health and can suck up more [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] at once, and even Olimar and Louie. It is possible for Olimar and Louie get out of the Jellyfloat quickly by rapidly rotating the Analog Stick. Likewise, all undigested Pikmin and leaders return when defeated. When [[Purple Pikmin]] are thrown, they knock the enemy to the ground, where it can be easily defeated by Pikmin swarming it. The Greater Spotted Jellyfloat (オオマンマン) is an enemy in Pikmin 2 that is a member of the Jellyfloat family. As it name implies, it resembles a large, pinkish version of the Lesser Spotted Jellyfloat. This species is considerably more rare, as it is alien to the region, but according to Olimar, its population is quickly displacing that of its smaller cousin. Greater Spotted Jellyfloats can be defeated in the same manner as Lesser Spotted Jellyfloats, but they have slightly more health and can suck up more Pikmin at once, and even Olimar and Louie. It is possible for Olimar and Louie get out of the Jellyfloat quickly by rapidly rotating the Analog Stick. Likewise, all undigested Pikmin and leaders return when defeated.
