Watery Blowhogs look exactly like Fiery Blowhogs, except that their snouts are tipped with blue. Instead of fire, they spit out non-flammable liquid that gets stuck on the Pikmin's heads, excluding Blue Pikmin and Bulbmin, of course. Bulbmin and Blue Pikmin, therefore, are the best Pikmin against this creature due to their water resistance. Purple Pikmin may work as well as long they are thrown (preferably on top of the Blowhog so it gets stunned). Blowing the whistle in the area the water is spewed can also cancel out the attack and save the Pikmin caught in the spray instantly.
In Pikmin 3, the Watery Blowhogs return, but are only seen in the Formidable Oak.

Strategy
Pikmin
Simply swarm the Blowhog. The Pikmin should be called back when the Blowhog begins to buck. If the Pikmin are thrown off, they will usually lose their flowers, and non-Blues will have trouble with the water jet. Calling the Pikmin with the whistle will save them if they get in contact with the water. As always, a considerable amount of Purple Pikmin will kill the Blowhog if thrown onto it. You can also leave some Blues alone to face the Watery Blowhog without harm, but steer the Blowhog away from any potential danger.
Captains
Merely punching will do. There is a certain distance in which the captains can harm the Blowhog, but not vice-versa, as the kick won't reach the captains.
